Hello! I am happy to be joining the KCS staff this year as a half day kindergarten teacher. Melissa Tracey and I are sharing the classroom as we each take a half day class.
I came to KCS first as a parent. My husband Tim and I have three children, all beginning at KCS in the Pre-K program. Being a part if KCS has been a wonderful blessing for our family.
Before our oldest was born (1995) I taught for 5 years at Westside Christian School. My first year of teaching was at the second grade level. The following four years were in First Grade. What a treat that was to be so involved in those young lives.
I graduated from Concordia University (now called Concordia University Chicago) in 1990 with a BA in Elementary Education. Within my degree I concentrated in two areas - Early Childhood Education and Reading Instruction.
At KCS I have seen over and over how committed the staff is to their calling as Christian educators and examples. Please pray for us this school year as we continue to reach for God's hand in our high calling to guide these children that have been entrusted to us this year. Psalm 8:1-2a
